Learn how to turn fresh botanicals into everlasting works of art. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn which flowers, herbs and foliage are best for pressing, how to harvest and prep them for the press, and my tried-and-true method for pressing to capture and preserve their beauty. Then, arrange a composite of pre-pressed botanicals onto a journal cover to take home. Each attendee leaves with a botanical press kit (8”x11” wooden press, cardboard and blotting paper, tweezers, and journal) which is included in registration fee. All ages are welcome to participate but we request that children under 12 are accompanied by an adult.
I will be available to inscribe and sign my books immediately following the event. Bring yours from home or buy one from me at the event.

Housekeeping Because the press kits for this workshop must be preordered, we are unable to provide refunds after June 1. We do, however, accept transfers of your workshop seat to another crafter. Please consider gifting your ticket to a friend, teacher, neighbor, or family member who would enjoy the workshop. Email info@cedarhouseliving.com with your name and the name and email of the person you'd like it transferred to and we will make the update on our end. If you are unable to find someone to transfer your ticket to, reach out to us, as we may have a waitlist we can contact.
